Due to the fact that the our travel dates are during High Season for the airline and  hotels are running high occupancy during this month, they have requested an immediate confirmation of participants. Should you be traveling with a spouse you will then be sharing with the spouse. 6.    VISA—please read carefully the attached itinerary explaining the procedure.  You need a visa to enter both Maldives & Sri Lanka    which can be gotten upon   arrival for US$ 30.00 (US$  currency cash only)in each country.. A valid US passport of at least six (6) months from the date of entry into both countries is required. In addition a passport photo is required .

7.  Please tell us the exact number of luggage you will be traveling with.

Attached please find the “wonderful” itinerary prepared especially for you. A week prior to departure you will receive a final copy with more details.

Day.1 Arrival – Phnom Penh (L, D)
Meet and welcome by our friendly guide upon arrival at Phnom Penh International Airport then transfer to hotel for check-in. Lunch at a local restaurant.
Afternoon, commence Phnom Penh city tour to visit Wat Phnom and Phsar Thmei (Central Market). Dinner at local restaurant. Overnight at the hotel in Phnom Penh.

Day.2 Phnom Penh (B, L, D)
After breakfast at the hotel, continue to visit Independence Monument, Royal Palace with Silver Pagoda and National Museum. Lunch at local restaurant.
Afternoon, visit Toul Sleng Museum(Genocide museum) and Toul Tumpung Market (Russian Market). Dinner at local restaurant. Overnight at a hotel in Phnom Penh.

Day.3 Phnom Penh (B, L, D)
After breakfast at the hotel , visit of the Killing Field of Cheung Ek and Apsara Art Association. Lunch at a local restaurant.
After lunch at leisure until late afternoon. Cyclo ride along the river then switch to wooden boat ride for sunset cruise on Chaktomouk River (Four Face Rivers) with buffet dinner on boat including Angkor Beer, soft drink and drinking water and intertainment music. Overnight at the Hotel in Phnom Penh.

Day.4 Phnom Penh – Koh Dach – Kampong Thom (B, L, D)
After breakfast at the hotel take a private bus to Kampong Thom. On the way stop to visit interested sites: crossing the Tonle Sap River by ferry to visit Koh Dach (an island in the Mekong River) to see local weaving villages where people using traditional wood loom to weave silk. Also visit to a local monastery, continue the trip and stop to visit fried spider market at Skun, Angkorian-era temples of Kuha Nokor, Prasat Village where ancient temple are dated back to 9th century AD is standing and Sandstone Carving/Scrupture along the roadside near the foothill of Santuk mountain. Lunch and dinner at local restaurant. Overnight at the hotel in Kampong Thom.

Day.5 Kampong Thom – Siem Reap (B, L, D)
After breakfast at the hotel, visit the early 7th century of Sambor Prei Kuk temple where located around 30Km from Kampong Thom town are the pre-Angkorian ruins temples. Lunch at a local restaurant on the way. Continue the trip and stop to visit Angkorian bridge at Kampong Kdei and Kampong Klaing in Tonle Sap Lake. Check-in at hotel upon arrival in Siem Reap. Dinner at local restaurant. Overnight at the hotel in Siem Reap.

Day.6 Siem Reap (temple Small Circuit)
After breakfast at the hotel, visit South Gate of Angkor Thom, Famous Bayon and Baphuon temples, Terraces of Elephant and Leper King and Phimean Akas temple. Lunch at a local restaurant.
Afternoon, visit Jungle temple of Ta Prohm where was made famous by the film “Tomb Raider” with the Hollywood famous actress Angelina Jolie and visit the World Heritage of Angkor Wat temple until sunset. Dinner at a local restaurant. Overnight at the hotel in Siem Reap.

Day.7 Siem Reap – Battambang (B, L, D) (Private Bus)
After breakfast at the hotel, transfer by private bus to Battambang province. Stop to visit some tourist sites on the way. Check-in at a hotel. Lunch and dinner at a local restaurant. Overnight at the hotel in Battambang.

Day.8 Battambang (B, L, D)
After breakfast at the hotel pay a last visit to this beautiful town by visiting Prahok Market, orange plantations, Khmer traditional houses and enjoy riding Bamboo Train that is a unique and creative form of local transportation. It uses motorcycle engine-powered bamboo cart that rides the railroad rails picking up and dropping off passengers, cargo, animals motorcycle along the way. When it meets an on-coming train or bamboo train, it can be dissambled and taken off the rail in a minute or two, allowing the other to pass. Lunch at a local restaurant.
Afternoon, transfer to visit the mountain-top temple of Banan (built 11th century AD) and to enjoy the view on the top of the mountain. Your travel will take you by Sampeou Mountain, you may ascend to enjoy the sunset and watch millions of bats fly out of a nearby cave. Transfer back to town for dinner at a local restaurant. Overnight stays at the Hotel in Battambang.

Day.9 Battambang- Prek Toal-Siem Reap (B, L, D) (private boat)
After an early breakfast at the hotel , transfer to the boat port for a private boat trip to Siem Reap via Tonle Sap Lake, which is one of the world’s most productive bodies of fresh water. On the water way, you can visit floating, fishing villages and observe fising techniques of local people to catch fish and stop at small floating house of the Environment & Wild Life Protection office in Prek Toal then continue by small boat to see the bird sanctuary where some birds make their nest on the floating scrub and tree. Lunch box will be served on boat. Then continue to Siem Reap. Check-in at hotel upon arrival. Dinner will be served at local restaurant. Overnight stay at a hotel in Siem Reap.

Day.10 Siem Reap (B, L, D)
After breakfast at the hotel, visit a cute pink stone of Banteay Srei temple, Landmine Museum and Pradak village. Lunch at local restaurant. After lunch, transfer to take a balloon ride straight up (about 200M) to to view the lost city of Angkor and surrounding area. Dinner at a local restaurant. Overnight at the hotel in Siem Reap.

Day.11 Siem Reap – Kulen Mountain- Siem Reap (B, L, D)
After breakfast at the hotel, transfer to visit Kulen Mountain, the holy and relic peak, where the Angkor era begins by an ancestor king Jayavarman II. Visit Thousand Lingas, Largest reclining Buddha, waterfall and bathing. It was here that the King Jayavarma II proclaimed independence from Java in 802 A.D. Picnic lunch will be served on the site. Transfer down hill proceeding back to town and fill the remaining time for sunset at Bakong temple. Dinner at Apsara Theatre (2nd performance). Overnight at the hotel in Siem Reap.

Day.12 Siem Reap – Departure (B)
After breakfast, shopping for Khmer traditional handicraft and free at leisure until time to transfer to airport for your departure.

Afternoon, tour of Tonle Sap to visit Natural Community Based Tourism Mechrey or Kampong Pluok and Artisan d’ Angkor (wood and stone carving). Dinner at the Aspara Theater (2nd performance). Overnight at the hotel.

Day.5 Siem Reap (B, L, D)
After breakfast at hotel, commence your wonderful temple tour visits of Angkor Thom city: starting from South Gate by walking to West Gate, visit Bayon, Baphuon, Elephants & Leper King Terraces, Phimean Akas. Lunch at local restaurant.
Afternoon, visit Thomanan, Chau Say Tevoda, Takeo and jungle temple of Ta Prohm where was made famous by the film “Tomb Raider” with the Hollywood famous actress Angelina Jolie , then Sras Srang. Sunset at Pre Rub temple where is an excellent place for countryside view. An option to get a Massage for relaxation after the day tour. Dinner at local restaurant. Overnight at the hotel.

Day.6 Siem Reap (B, L, D)
After breakfast, visit Angkor Hospital for Children and then continue to visit a cute pink stone of Banteay Srei temple and Landmine Museum. Lunch at Borei Sovan Kbal Spean.

Afternoon, transfer to take balloon ride straight up above 200M to view the lost city of Angkor and surrounding area and visit the world heritage of Angkor Wat Temple till sunset. An option to get a Massage for relaxation after the day tour. Dinner at local restaurant. Overnight at the hotel.
