Day 1 – Arrival Yangon

On arrival to Yangon International airport you will be greeted by one of our staff members and transferred to your luxurious five stars hotel. After a brief freshening up at your hotel we will begin the orientation tour of Yangon. Currently Yangon is the biggest city in Myanmar with a population of over 5 million people. You will notice that some of the buildings have a colonial influence; this is because Yangon was under control of the British empire of nearly 100 years. There is no lack of culture here and the natural beauty will leave you breathless. With its tree lined avenues and shady green parks you will quickly fall in love with one of the most charming and lively cities in Asia.
Your tour will include a visit to the old colonial part of downtown, followed by a visit to Chaukhtatgyi Temple which houses the biggest reclining Buddha image in Southeast Asia. After this you will be taken to the National Museum which hosts a vast collection of priceless artefacts and cultural heritages. Your visit to the museum will leave you with a better understanding of the history, culture, ethnicities, arts & crafts, and lifestyle of the country and its people.
Your day will end with a trip to the famous Shwedagon Pagoda; here you will enjoy the sunset which will overwhelm the heart and soul of all visitors. Spend the rest of the evening at your luxuriant hotel where you will receive service that will leave you feeling like royalty.

Day 2 – Yangon- Bagan (AM Flight)

In the early morning after a deep sleep in your plush bed and a special prepared breakfast you will be transferred via private car to the airport for your flight to Bagan. Bagan hosts one of the greatest collections of Buddhist sculptures and murals, and it is one of Asia’s holiest cities which can be compared to Varanasi and Jerusalem.
Bagan was founded by the 11th century King Anawrahta and construction of this great city lasted nearly two and a half centuries. During this time Bagan was transferred into the nerve centre of ancient Burmese culture. The city was eventually sacked 1287 by Mongol armies under the power of Kublai Khan who destroyed hundreds of monuments.
On arrival to Bagan we will to take you to the most interesting temples with various different cultural aspects and the most distinct architectural styles. You will spend the day visiting temple after temple, but this will not bore you because each one is unique with its own style.
Your tour guide will fill you with cultural knowledge of each of the temples visited. We will be sure to take you to the most remarkable temples which are: Shwezigon pagoda, Ananda, Gubyaukgyi, Htilominlo and Sulamani temple. Some of the temples are lavishly decorated with mural paintings and plaster carvings which have remarkably lasted for over 900 years. Our guide will be sure to give you special insider-access to these remarkable sites.
To finish up your day you will be taken on a private boat tour down Myanmar’s main river the Ayarwaddy. On the boat you will get to see the lavish landscape of Began and its surrounding hills. This is one of the best ways to enjoy a sunset in Began. Right before the sun goes down the boat will stop and turn off the engine so you can relax and listen to the sound of nature. After your private boat ride, be sure to visit the spa at your hotel for a well deserved pampering.

Day 3 – Bagan

Start the day with a trip to the local markets (Bagan and Nyaung Oo) full of local people selling and buying local products, here you will get a chance to purchase some priceless souvenirs. You will really get a feel of the culture and the people with a visit to the markets.
After the markets we will head to the lacquer wear factory where you can get a first hand view of how this beautiful tableware has been made, and they have kept the same traditional way of making it since the 11th century. Be sure to pick up a few pieces for yourself. Before sunset you will be taken around the city by pony cart and this will give you chance to relax and enjoy the scenery. Every evening in Bagan the sunset has an indescribable magical power.
We will be sure you experience this in the best way possible. As you sit atop one of the tall temples you can breathe the fresh air and experience a peaceful and tranquil moment. Let your imagination take you back 1000 years while looking at the spectacular view in front of you. After a beautiful sunset return to your lavish hotel for a well deserved nights sleep.

Day 4 – Bagan/ Heho- Inle Lake (AM Flight)

This morning you’ll be transferred to the airport for the flight to Heho which is the gateway to the Southern Shan State. The elevation here is over 3000 feet. Heho is a one hour drive away from Inle Lake, which is thriving with cultural heritage.
On your drive to the lake you will go through the scenic countryside of the Shan Hills, also along the way you will have the opportunity to stop at the Shan handmade paper umbrella factory and the Shwe Yan Pyay Monastery which is a lovely old Shan style wooden monastery with oval shape windows. Once on Inle you will be chauffeured in your private long tail boat around the 22 kilometre lake.
Here you can witness first hand the deep rooted culture of the local peoples. Of all of the places you visit in Myanmar Inle will be the one you remember most fondly. The friendly hill tribe people, ancient pagodas, colourful festivals, and natural beauty will give you a life time of memories. Day 5 – Inle Lake

Today’s full day sightseeing begins with the market which is held once in every five days. This is one of the best opportunities to see hill tribe’s people coming down to sell and buy their products. You will see a way of life that you will not experience anywhere else in the world. After the market you will wander around the scenic lake by private boat.
Today’s highlight is a leg-rowing Intha boat race, specially performed for our clients. This boat race is one of the most interesting events to witness on the lake, especially for foreigners. On the lake you will see the Inthas and their unique fishing method, floating gardens, the floating villages and the holiest Phaung Daw Oo Pagoda with extraordinary Buddha images.
In the afternoon you will take a trip to Inthein which is a small village outside the lake. To reach the village we will take a light trek only about 20 minutes, and along the way you will get to enjoy the bamboo forest filled with ancient pagodas. There are many sites to see here and you will also have the chance to go to Shwe Inn Thein Paya which is perched on a small hill above the lake. You will get the best views of the lake and valley from this point. A long day at the lake will surely leave you hungry, so be sure to try some of the exotic dishes at your hotel that are prepared by top chefs.

Day 6 – Inle – Heho/ Thandwe’ (Flight)

After a hardy breakfast at your plush hotel you will be taken to the airport for your flight to Thandwe. From here you will be greeted and taken to the beautiful Ngapali Beach.
Here you will check into your luxury hotel where you can spend the day. If you are a fan of golf we recommend taking shooting a round at the beachside golf course. You can’t get a better view of the beach anywhere in Southeast Asia, and the remote location is one of a kind.

Day 7 – Ngapali Beach

Ngapali Beach is considered to be the most beautiful beach of all the beaches in Myanmar, and it is even said to be one of the finest in Southeast Asia.
Today you can enjoy the beach at your leisure. Weather it is relaxing on the beach with an exotic cocktail or getting pampered at the resort spa, Ngapali Beach is sure to fulfil all your wishes. Today on the beach you won’t have to lift a finger because the hotel staff is there to serve you hand and foot.

Day 8 – Thandwe’/ Yangon (AM Flight) – Departure (International Flight)

After breakfast at your hotel, ride to airport in your individual coach for your flight back to Yangon. Before your departure flight, if time permits, visit Karaweik Royal Barge in the Kandawgyi Park. Be sure to get some shopping done at Bogyoke Market (formerly called Scott Market) which has the largest collections of souvenirs from all over Myanmar.
This evening you will be transferred to the Airport for your International Flight.
