Bali
Untouched, exotic, mysterious and enchanting, Bali to many is the land of a thousand Gods and a thousand temples and a thousand dances, together with many other Islands that form Indonesia, await your discovery. Some see the islands as perhaps the last frontier to be discovered for its beauty, its culture, its way of life. Others arrive here and undergo an experience, one that will etch a life-long impact and draw them back to its shores again and again. Bali is one of 27 provinces of the Republic of Indonesia, lying east of Java.
The island is rich in culture and is endowed with beautiful landscapes, warm sandy beaches, cool lofty mountains with friendly people and their exotic life, art and fascinating folklore. “Come to Bali for its culture and its beauty” Although it stands apart from any other destination in the world with its diversity of attractions, beautiful landscapes, smiling faces, shrines and temples and its people devotion to the arts, Bali is filled with magnificent resorts which dot the island.
Bali is situated approximately on latitude 8 South and longitude 115 East and together with the nearby island of Lombok, are the most westerly of the little Sunda Islands. These are part of over 14,000 islands that make up the Republic of Indonesia, the world’s largest Archipelago. The Balinese are truly proud of their island. Visitors soon realize that Bali is no longer a frontier waiting to be discovered, but instead needs to be “re-discovered”. Balinese culture has changed little since its origin. This island of Bali remains fiercely attractive to the visitor who comes here in search of character, their own perhaps.
More significantly the journey to Bali should be undertaken to seek an understanding of a way of life that is truly unique.
“Come! Bali Awaits You!”
