Day 1: ARRIVAL  

Arrival at Catania airport and transfer to one hotel located near Milazzo port, in front of the Aeolian Islands). Overnight in Messina area.

Day 2: LIPARI – VULCANO – MESSINA AREA  

Transfer to Milazzo port and boarding a motorboat for a full day excursion to Lipari and Vulcano. After skirting the promontory of Capo Milazzo, we will sail to Lipari for the first stop, which is useful for exploring the old town, the archaeological park or relax during shopping in the town; here you have time at disposal before departing from Lipari to the island of Vulcano. During this part of navigation will be made the tour of the mythological area and that part of the coast where you will visit the “Faraglioni”, “La Grotta dei Angeli” and “Lo scoglio della Mummia”. Continuing the sailing you will visit also the beautiful “Piscina di Venere”, “La Grotta del cavallo” and “Lo scoglio del Leone” until reach Vulcano for the second stop where passengers can choose to take a bath in the hot springs in the area of sulphurous mud, use the beautiful black Sand Beach or have lunch at a local restaurant (optional). After departure from Vulcano, before directing navigation to Milazzo, we will pass the beautiful “Scoglio della Sirenetta”. Return to Milazzo late afternoon. Overnight in Messina area.

Day 3: PANAREA – STROMBOLI – MESSINA AREA  

Morning free at the hotel. P.m. transfer to Milazzo port and boarding a motorboat for a the excursion to Panarea and Stromboli by night. Departure from Milazzo and direct transfer to Panarea; before docking in S.Pietro’s port we will sail along Baia Calajunco and the small Zimmari’s beach. A two hour stop in Panarea allows passangers to visit the village, have a swim or to have time at disposal. In about 45 minutes walk or by taxi it is possibile to reach the small prehistoric village of Capo Milazzese, dated to 1400 BC. In the afternoon departure for Stromboli; during the transfer you can admire the group of islands in front of Panarea. Before our second stop, visit from the sea to the picturesque village of Ginostra. After docking in Stromboli Scari’s port, visit to the island until sunset, then departure to admire Stromboli exploding by night, in particular the Sciara del Fuoco, (“Stream of fire”), where the active lava flows. Return to Milazzo between 10.00 pm and 11.00 pm, depending on sunset time. Overnight in Messina area.

Day 4: TAORMINA – MESSINA AREA  

Morning free time. P.m. excursion to Taormina. Taormina represents one of the most beautiful places in the region. Located in an ideal cape, where people can admire both the gorgeous panoramas and the landscape from Calabria to the Mount Etna – the tallest active volcano in Europe. The streets, the medieval buildings, the archeological sites and the essential charm are a natural attraction for tourists from all over the world. We will visit the most important monument, the Greek Theater. It was built in the III century B.C. by the Greeks, but it was recast during the Roman era. Other monuments to be visited are the cathedral and the Roman Odeon (just the outside). Overnight in Messina area.

Day 5: ARRIVAL  

Transfer to the hotel in Marsala area. The rest of the day is at leisure. Overnight in Marsala area.

Day 6: FAVIGNANA  

Transfer to the port of Trapani; boarding the hydrofoil to Favignana, the biggest of the Egadi Islands.
The main town, also known as Favignana, has a small port and with its two piazzas, its pedestrianised streets and its lovely sandy beach, has an easy, unpretentious charm and a relaxing atmosphere. Favignana Town is also home to two buildings that give us an insight into the island’s history. The first, Palazzo Florio (not visitable the inside), is a grand mansion overlooking the harbour built by Ignazio Florio, once one of Italy’s richest and most powerful industrialists. The second building is the “tonnara” (the tunny-fishing place) that continued to function under a variety of owners until the late 1980s and now host a museum dedicated to the island’s tuna industry and the “mattanza” (the traditional tuna cull). Time at disposal before a panoramic tour of the island with stops in some of the most beautiful beaches and visit of the Hypogeum Gardens, which are in the rest of an ancient tufo stones quarry. Boarding the hydrofoil to Trapani . Overnight in Marsala area.

Day 7: DEPARTURE  

Check-out after breakfast; transfer to Catania airport.
