Day 1: ARRIVAL  

Arrival at Catania airport and transfer to the hotel, in a village not far from the port of Milazzo. The rest of the day is free. Dinner and overnight in Messina area.

Day 2: VULCANO – MESSINA AREA  

Transfer to Milazzo port and boarding a motorboat for a full day excursion to Lipari and Vulcano. After skirting the promontory of Capo Milazzo, we will sail to Lipari for the first stop, which is useful for exploring the old town, the archaeological park or relax during shopping in the town; time at your disposal until the early afternoon, when we sail from Lipari to the island of Vulcano. During this part of navigation will be made the tour of the mythological area and that part of the coast where you will visit the “Faraglioni”, “La Grotta dei Angeli” and “Lo scoglio della Mummia”. Continuing the sailing you will visit also the beautiful “Piscina di Venere”, “La Grotta del cavallo” and “Lo scoglio del Leone” until reach Vulcano for the second stop where passengers can choose to take a bath in the hot springs in the area of sulphurous mud, use the beautiful black Sand Beach or have lunch at a local restaurant (optional). After departure from Vulcano, before directing navigation to Milazzo, we will pass the beautiful “Scoglio della Sirenetta”. Return to Milazzo late afternoon. Dinner and overnight in Messina area.

Day 3: TAORMINA – MESSINA AREA  

Excursion to Taormina. Taormina represents one of the most beautiful places in the region. Located in an ideal cape, where people can admire both the gorgeous panoramas and the landscape from Calabria to the Mount Etna – the tallest active volcano in Europe. The streets, the medieval buildings, the archeological sites and the essential charm are a natural attraction for tourists from all over the world. We will visit the most important monument, the Greek Theater. It was built in the III century B.C. by the Greeks, but it was recast during the Roman era. Time at your disposal until early afternoon. Other monuments to be visited in Taormina are the cathedral and the Roman Odeon (just the outside). Dinner and overnight in Messina area.

Day 4: PANAREA – STROMBOLI – MESSINA AREA  

Morning free at the hotel. P.m. transfer to Milazzo port and boarding a motorboat for a the excursion to Panarea and Stromboli by night. Departure from Milazzo and direct transfer to Panarea; before docking in S.Pietro’s port we will sail along Baia Calajunco and the small Zimmari’s beach. A two hour stop in Panarea allows passengers to visit the village, have a swim and have time at disposal until early afternoon. In about 45 minutes walk or by taxi it is possibile to reach the small prehistoric village of Capo Milazzese, dated to 1400 BC. In the afternoon departure for Stromboli; during the transfer you can admire the group of islands in front of Panarea. Before our second stop, visit from the sea to the picturesque village of Ginostra. After docking in Stromboli Scari’s port, visit to the island until sunset, then departure to admire Stromboli exploding by night, in particular the Sciara del Fuoco, (“Stream of fire”), where the active lava flows. Return to Milazzo between 10.00 pm and 11.00 pm, depending on sunset time. Dinner and overnight in Messina area.

Day 5: MESSINA AREA  

Free day in hotel. Dinner and overnight in Messina area.

Day 6: SALINA  

Departure from Milazzo at 9:00 am. Sailing to Vulcano where you will do a technical stop with possible change of Motorship. After departing from Vulcano, visit from aboard to the old pumice pits and the white beaches. During this stop is possible to have a swim in the charming sea bay (weather and sea conditions permitting). After docking in Rinella’s port (Salina), our first stop, you have the opportunity to visit the small village and have time at your disposal until early afternoon. Departure from Rinella for the complete external tour of the island of Salina with particular attention to the Baia di Pollara, where the film “Il Postino” (The Postman) was shot by Massimo Troisi. We finally reach the village of Santa Marina Salina; second stop to visit the pictoresque town and to do shopping. On the way back visit from aboard to the south-east coast of Lipari, focusing on the Grotticelle. Dinner and overnight in Messina area.

Day 7: CASTELBUONO AND CEFALU’  

Breakfast and departure to Castelbuono, a charming town that was formed in the 14C around the castle built by the Ventimiglia family, a massive square construction with square towers, which has undergone many alterations over the years. On to Cefalù, wher you can have time at your disposal before to visit this lovely medieval town and its famous cathedral, one of the most beautiful in Sicily, founded by Ruggero II, the first King of Sicily. The cathedral of Cefalù, and some monuments of the Norman period of Monreale and Palermo are acknowledged as a UNESCO heritage site in 2015. Overnight. Dinner and overnight in Messina area.

Day 8: TRANSFER APT  

Transfer to Catania airport and end of our services .
